One of the biggest problems facing America First is how to wake up the “normies” and deprogram our kids without triggering all of their defenses. The schools have your kids for 6+ hours per day, brainwashing them with their communist/globalist claptrap, while your normie friends get propagandized by both mainstream media and social media.
What’s a clever patriot to do?
Why not add a “skipped in school” family movie night to teach your loved ones about the REAL history of communism, corrupt government, and all the other inconvenient stuff they never learned in school? No need to argue about politics. Simply pop some popcorn, pour a glass of wine (for the adults), and invite your loved ones to watch a movie.
There’s nothing a virtue-signaling liberal loves better than a “foreign art film.”
It’s important to research the historical events depicted in each movie so you can off-handedly comment about the REAL history that’s depicted. For example, in “The Blue Kite” when the boys kill the sparrows, you can casually mention, “Yeah, Mao ordered that because he thought he understood farming better than the farmers, but then, because there were no birds to eat the insects, crops failed and 60 million Chinese starved to death.” And then, later in the film when Uncle Li brings the family a piece of ham that was meant for himself and faints from hunger, you can add, “isn’t it tragic, how government central planning caused that famine?”
And its also important to research the actual science behind the current globalist messaging of “global warming” or “overpopulation” or “pandemics” or any of the other bullshit theories the Globalists use to terrify and brainwash our family members with so they can tax / money launder / exterminate / control them.
NO SINGLE MOVIE will poke holes in your loved one’s delusions. The more in-denial they are, the more you will need to slip these truths beneath their denial mechanisms disguised as entertainment to undermine their programming. And remember … you can help your brainwashed friends like the movie (and therefore accept the truth) by occasionally counter-dropping apparently “woke” statements, such as, “gee, isn’t it sad that after all the black slave and the white slave went through, that they suffer apart rather than continue on to defeat their real oppressors?” at the end of “The Nightingale.”
Hollywood has been doing this to US for almost a century. Now it’s time to weaponize it against them.
“The head of the U.S. Office of War Information was Elmer Davis who said, ‘The easiest way to inject a propaganda idea into most people’s minds is to let it go through the medium of an entertainment picture when they do not realize they’re being propagandized.”
Content warning: the truth is often ugly and violent. Watching these movies with your kids is incredibly powerful (they’ll want to throw up when Dith Pran crawls through the rice paddy filled with bodies in “The Killing Fields“) and will inoculate them forever against pro-communist propaganda, but don’t just slip in a DVD and walk away.

(NOTE: I’m not [yet] personally convinced 9/11 was a false flag, but given all the other false flags we’ve seen lately and the breathless expansion of government power, this micro-budget film acts out the most credible evidence that at least -some- deep state malfeasance was involved).

(NOTE: I include this pro-Iranian film because I feel it ‘made its case’ as to how western meddling caused the deadly Iranian riots, even though I disagree with the film’s final premise that the Iranian government is good and wish that revolution had succeeded).

- Painkiller (2021) – this is a B-grade vigilante justice thriller, but it accurately depicts the criminal and political untouchability of Big Pharma and the doctors whose profitable “treatment protocols” destroy lives, and provides a bit of entertaining “vigilante justice” catharsis.
- Painkiller (2013) tv mini-series – completely unrelated to the movie above, this well-written tv miniseries depicts the current opioid epidemic and the deliberate big-pharma / doctor profiteering which goes on behind the scenes.

About Mercy Otis Warren II
Mercy Otis Warren II lives in occupied territory in a deep blue state. She’s a recovering liberal, deeply patriotic, a “crappy but consistent Catholic”, and writes screenplays which will never get made because Hollywood is hopelessly liberal and Mercy likes to poke fun at virtue-signaling.
